POMEGRANATE

In Greek Mythology, the Pomegranate is known as the “Fruit of the Dead”. The story of Persephona and how she was tricked by Hades in to eating 6 seeds of the Pomegranate, he who ate any food in the underworld was doomed to spend eternity there. This is how the Greeks explained the 6 months that there is not crop growth, and explains the seasons
